About Qube.

Within the Republic of Ireland, Qube uses the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) hydrological modelling system for estimation of annual flow duration curves, known as HydroTool. The methods from HydroTool have been updated and expanded for use within Qube. The Qube system has been developed by Wallingford HydroSolutions in partnership with the Environment Agency for England.

Within this web-based system you can explore a rich mapping interface and search by place, catchment and feature names or grid references. Define any catchment (over 0.1 km²) and estimate annual and monthly mean flows and flow duration curve statistics. You can interrogate the artificial influences that affect these flow estimates. The system allows you to incorporate and review local gauging station data, as well review spot gauge data. You can produce residual flow diagram charts and maps. You can also export CSV tables of natural and artificial flows and influencing feature data, as well as charts, maps and catchment boundary shapefiles.
